Role: Engineering Manager

What the role looks like
80% people leadership / strategy, 20% technical contribution
Managing teams of ~10–15 engineers
Driving delivery, execution, and engineering culture
Partnering closely with Product & Design on roadmap and architecture
Hiring, onboarding, and scaling engineering teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
We need strong startup EMs with real ownership experience, ideally:
7–10+ years engineering experience
3+ years as an Engineering Manager
Currently or recently managing 8–15 engineers
Background in Series A–D startups (fintech, AI, SaaS, B2B strongly preferred)
Strong system design capability
Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally fintech / payments / billing / revenue systems
Comfortable working on-site in NYC 5 days per week
