In this role, you will be instrumental in advancing process innovation, designing state-of-the-art equipment, and nurturing talent within a rapidly evolving, cutting-edge technological environment. Your primary focus will be to ensure safe and scalable production capabilities that align with organizational goals, growth initiatives, and core values.
You will oversee a team of skilled process, controls, facility, and maintenance engineers, ensuring they are equipped to deliver high-level results consistently. You will be responsible for leading capital planning and budgeting for both engineering and maintenance while collaborating with corporate teams to establish and implement best practices and engineering standards.
Key responsibilities include developing talent through role-based expectations and creating succession plans, leading and optimizing processes through automation and continuous improvement, and utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. You will ensure seamless scalability from prototype development to full production and oversee comprehensive trouble-shooting, aiming for optimal efficiency and safety.
Additional responsibilities include spearheading cost-saving projects, supporting new product introduction to ensure manufacturing readiness, managing maintenance through a computerized system, and aligning with quality management standards.
To succeed, you should have a background in engineering and significant experience in relevant industries like battery, extrusion, or polymer processing, with strong project management abilities and expertise in continuous improvement strategies. Your ability to make sound decisions and communicate effectively across various audiences will be indispensable.
