Description

The Engineering Manager will report directly into the Plant Manager and be responsible for:

  • Provide leadership and technical direction to engineering and manufacturing teams across production initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Evaluate and enhance existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve productivity.
  • Develop and implement process improvements aligned with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Oversee data collection, analysis, and experimentation to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate process implementation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve production and process-related challenges.
  • Ensure optimal equipment performance, reliability, and uptime by overseeing maintenance systems and standards.
  • Act as a technical liaison with vendors and third-party partners on equipment and system improvements.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of leadership or management experience.
  • Process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience with process modeling tools and manufacturing systems.
  • Working knowledge of controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and CNC operations.
  • Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles.
