Description

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical professionals.
  • Manage engineering resources and priorities to support customer requirements, product development, and production objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes, work instructions, engineering changes, and production methodologies.
  • Review customer specifications and product designs to ensure manufacturability and operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with manufacturing, quality, tooling, and commercial teams to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Oversee tooling development, optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Lead engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery against timelines, budgets, and objectives.
  • Support new product introduction activities, including technical evaluations, feasibility reviews, and process development.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance and identify opportunities for automation, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
  • Support quality initiatives including validation activities, corrective actions, process capability improvements, and compliance requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams and customers while supporting business development efforts.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • At least five years of engineering experience within a manufacturing setting.
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or project management experience.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, assembly operations, tooling, and production systems.
  • Experience developing and improving manufacturing processes, procedures, and engineering controls.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Experience supporting quality systems, process validation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Proficiency with engineering software and technical documentation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing engineering talent.
