We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead manufacturing and product engineering initiatives while driving process optimization, new product introduction, and continuous improvement efforts across the facility.

Job Details

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop engineering teams supporting manufacturing operations and process improvement initiatives
  • Drive manufacturing process optimization focused on efficiency, quality, throughput, and waste reduction
  • Support automation and controls initiatives across manufacturing equipment and production systems
  • Oversee new product implementation and support successful transition into production
  • Prioritize and manage engineering changes from internal and external stakeholders
  • Assess manufacturing and process risk related to new products, equipment, and production changes
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and process optimization methodologies
  • Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving related to manufacturing equipment and production processes
  • Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and process implementation projects
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and manufacturing procedures
  • Lead change management and engineering process improvement initiatives
  • Analyze production and process data to improve cycle time, uptime, quality, and overall operational performance
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, technical standards, and manufacturing procedures
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a complex manufacturing environment
  • Prior leadership or management experience overseeing engineering teams preferred
  • Strong background in manufacturing processes, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting PLCs, HMIs, industrial automation systems, and manufacturing equipment troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and process optimization methodologies
  • Experience supporting new product introduction and production implementation activities
  • Strong understanding of engineering change management and quality systems
  • Experience within automotive, aerospace, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
