Description
This Engineering Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of engineers
- Providing day‑to‑day engineering support to manufacturing operations
- Overseeing batch chemical processes to ensure safety and purity
- Driving process optimization for yield, throughput, and cost
- Troubleshooting production and quality issues with operations teams
- Leading root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Managing raw material engineering and supplier technical interfaces
- Supporting capital projects, equipment upgrades, and expansions
- Collaborating cross‑functionally with Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and R&D
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards
Profile
The ideal Engineering Manager candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
- 8-10 years in chemical or specialty manufacturing
- 3-5 years leading engineers or technical teams
- Batch manufacturing experience (required)
- High‑purity or semiconductor materials exposure preferred
- Strong process troubleshooting and optimization skills
- Experience with purification and PPQ‑level environments
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem solving
