LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Consultant to support a manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for an engineering professional with a strong background in equipment evaluation, quality improvement, and automation, who is looking to make an impact in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on, analytical approach while supporting initiatives that drive operational efficiency, product quality, and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate manufacturing equipment and processes to identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.Serve as a technical resource for engineering and operations teams, providing guidance on equipment, automation, and process optimization.Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, throughput, and cost reduction.Analyze production data and quality metrics to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and standardize best practices.Support automation projects, including equipment upgrades, system integrations, and new technology implementation.Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action planning for quality and equipment-related issues.Review and optimize manufacturing workflows to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product consistency.Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.Document findings, recommendations, and project updates for leadership and key stakeholders.Qualifications5+ years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation systems.Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.).Proven ability to analyze data and drive process and quality improvements.Familiarity with PLCs, robotics, or automated production systems is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across multiple teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering or data analysis tools.Employment Type: Full-timeStarting at: $50/hour based on experienceHours: Monday through FridayEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.#J-18808-Ljbffr
