ENGINEERING ASSISTANT – Fairfield County, CT

We’re partnering with a well-established aerospace and precision manufacturing company in Fairfield County, CT that is looking for an Engineering Assistant—but this is more than just an entry-level engineering role.

This is for someone who:
• Wants hands-on exposure to real-world aerospace manufacturing
• Enjoys problem-solving, technical detail, and process coordination
• Thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Wants to grow alongside experienced engineers and shop floor operations
• Takes pride in organization, accuracy, and supporting mission-critical production

You’ll be:
• Reading and interpreting aerospace blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Applying GD&T knowledge within manufacturing and production workflows
• Assisting with methods of operation and job setup documentation
• Supporting Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and manufacturing processes
• Coordinating machine selection, materials, and outside processing requirements
• Working closely with engineering, production, and quality teams
• Helping ensure jobs are properly prepared before entering the shop floor
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and engineering documentation
