Duration: 12 Months
Schedule: On-call; average 20 hours/week | Hybrid (3+ days onsite preferred) | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST

Seeking an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health to support system design, configuration, certification, and delivery efforts for complex integrated systems. This role requires a collaborative engineer who applies systems thinking across the full lifecycle — from concept to delivery — ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability objectives are met.
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify system and subsystem solutions.
Evaluate operational needs and define performance requirements.
Perform system-level analyses for reliability, maintainability, diagnostics, and system health.
Conduct component-level FMECA analyses and system health predictions.
Integrate quality, testability, and product assurance into system architecture.
Manage requirements, risks, issues, and technology readiness assessments.
Resolve cross-functional technical issues and drive system optimization.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
Minimum 4 years of experience applying Systems Engineering principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to collaborate across functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Critical thinking and adaptability in agile, flexible settings.
Experience applying the Systems Engineering V-Model.
5+ years of experience in Reliability, Maintainability, and System Health.
5+ years in FMEA/FMECA, Reliability & Maintainability predictions, or reliability testing.
Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, or related field.
Demonstrated leadership through influence and cross-functional collaboration.
Work Schedule: 9x80 schedule; no overtime expected.
Travel: None required (domestic or international).
Security Clearance: Not required to start.
