Key Responsibilities and Required Skills
The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust and reusable data frameworks and working within an Agile team environment. A strong analytical mindset is crucial for organizing, analyzing, and disseminating significant amounts of information with accuracy and attention to detail.
Technical Expertise- ETL & Data Pipelines: At least 8 years of experience in architecting and implementing complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines, particularly using the Spark toolset.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java/Scala and Python is essential for coding and design. At least 4 years of specific experience with Java in the data space is required.
- Data Management: Strong technical expertise in data models, database design, development, data mining, and segmentation techniques is necessary.
- SQL & Big Data: Excellent skills in writing complex SQL queries and experience with big data technologies like HIVE, Presto, and Hadoop.
- Cloud Computing: Extensive experience with AWS technologies, including EC2, Redshift, Cloud formation, EMR, S3, and AWS Analytics. AWS certification (Developer, Architect, DevOps, or Big Data) is a desirable skill.
Desirable Qualifications- Frameworks & Agile: Experience in building reusable frameworks and working within an Agile team.
- Communication & Analytics: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical abilities to collect and organize data with a high degree of detail and accuracy.
- Algorithms & Data Structures: A solid understanding and practical usage of algorithms and data structures.
