Akkodis is seeking an Engineer Sr for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate with experience conducting security assessments, identifying application risks, and driving secure development practices to strengthen enterprise application security posture.
Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Engineer Sr Job Responsibilities include:
Conduct security assessments of internally developed and third-party applications to identify vulnerabilities, security risks, and compliance gaps.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and vendor teams to evaluate application architectures and recommend secure design and remediation strategies.
Develop and implement AI-driven automation solutions to streamline application security reviews, threat modeling, compliance validation, and policy enforcement.
Document security findings, prioritize risks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve the overall security posture of enterprise applications.
Track remediation activities, validate security fixes, and ensure vulnerabilities are resolved in accordance with organizational standards.
Contribute to secure development practices by creating reusable security frameworks, design patterns, and security assessment methodologies while staying current with emerging threats and technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in Application Security, Information Security, Security Engineering, or Secure Software Development.
Strong expertise in application security assessments, threat modeling, vulnerability management, secure coding practices, and security testing of web, cloud, and enterprise applications.
Proven experience developing AI-driven security automation solutions, conducting risk assessments, collaborating with engineering teams, and implementing security controls for compliance, supply chain security, and enterprise application protection.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
