1st shift: Core hours 8am-4pm
Introduction
We are seeking new graduates or early career talent to join our team as a Product Safety and Standards Engineer. This role involves supporting safety and compliance activities for our products, including commercial mowing and golf equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to tailor communications to the audience.
- Skills in managing multiple simultaneous projects.
- Able to coordinate efforts and develop consensus recommendations.
- Able to review, understand, and explain requirements from standards and/or regulations.
- Prior work experience in a related industry is preferred.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge and familiarity with engineering concepts related to mobile off-road machinery.
- Familiarity with regulations and standards, including but not limited to: EN, IEC, ISO, SAE, UL.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Gather data from test labs, product engineering teams, and others in support of safety and compliance activities.
- Prepare compliance documentation for commercial mowing, golf, and other products.
- Create and maintain test activity template records.
- Work with third-party companies to gather information on market entry requirements.
