Job Description
 
Title: Engineer Product I - Product Safety Compliance and Standards // Product Engineer I-Product Safety and Compliance
Location:Fuquay-Varina, NC - 27526
Duration: 24 Months (possible extension)
1st Shift: 8 AM – 4 PM
Interview Process: 1-Hour Teams

Your Responsibilities;
As a Product Safety and Standards Engineer for Turf Compact Utility in Fuquay-Varina, NC you will:
  • Gather data from test labs, product engineering teams, and others in support of safety and compliance activities.
  • Prepare compliance documentation for commercial mowing, golf, and other products.
  • Create and maintain test activity template records.
  • Work with third-party companies to gather information on market entry requirements.

What Skills You Need:
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor communications to audience.
  • Skills in managing multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Able to coordinate efforts and develop consensus recommendations.
  • Able to review, understand, and explain requirements from standards and/or regulations.

What Makes You Stand Out:
  • Knowledge and familiarity of engineering concepts related to mobile off-road machinery.
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards, including but not limited to: EN, IEC, ISO, SAE, UL.

Education:
  • Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelors or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent experience.
