Your Responsibilities;
As a Product Safety and Standards Engineer in Fuquay-Varina, NC you will:
  • Gather data from test labs, product engineering teams, and others in support of safety and compliance activities.
  • Prepare compliance documentation for commercial mowing, golf, and other products.
  • Create and maintain test activity template records
  • Work with third-party companies to gather information on market entry requirements
What Skills You Need;
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor communications to audience
  • Skills in managing multiple simultaneous projects
  • Able to coordinate efforts and develop consensus recommendations
  • Able to review, understand, and explain requirements from standards and/or regulations
What Makes you stand out;
  • Knowledge and familiarity of engineering concepts related to mobile off-road machinery
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards, including but not limited to: EN, IEC, ISO, SAE, UL
Education;
  • Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelors or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or equivalent experience
