Summary:
As a Planning and Reliability Engineer you will develop and execute test plans and processes for the Golf and Commercial Mowing PVV (product verification & validation) Department. In addition, you will:
 
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate testing and analysis work for design projects varying in complexity from component only to complete development programs.
  • Review work done by PV&V engineers, lab technicians, and mechanics for evaluation of machine performance/reliability to product specifications.
  • Provides technical support to marketing, product engineering, manufacturing, quality and supply management functional areas.
  • Prepare reports and presentations outlining the progress of test plans and path towards product goals.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering or equivalent knowledge
  • Experience with lawn care products and environments
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills
  • Experience with meeting facilitation, note taking, and issue tracking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated skills with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience within the product development environment
  • Experience working effectively across departments/functions
  • Experience reading and writing test standards and procedures
 
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $41.89- $41.89/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
