Position SummaryThe position is in the Pipeline Safety Management System (PSMS) within the Gas Governance organization. This entry‑level role develops technical expertise in a specific area of specialty, performing work on conventional plans, investigations, surveys, structures or equipment with limited complexity. Activities are of limited scope, requiring knowledge of principles and techniques commonly employed in the narrow area of assignments. The engineer may lead small‑medium, non‑critical projects and provide field oversight of critical projects under the direction of a higher‑level engineer or supervisor. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy. As proficiency is gained, the engineer may work on portions of larger projects while acting under supervision and following established procedures.
