Job TitleEngineerAbout Our ClientThis is an opportunity to join a well-established company in the building and construction industry with a focus on high rise development projects. Operating as a mid-sized organization, the company is recognized for its commitment to delivering high-quality results and fostering a professional work environment.Job DescriptionLead structural design development for high-rise residential and mixed-use projects.Perform structural analysis and design calculations for steel, concrete, and composite systems.Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.Review and respond to shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction.Ensure structural designs comply with applicable building codes (NYC Building Code, IBC, and related standards).Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection with design and construction teams.Conduct site visits to monitor structural progress and resolve field issues.Support value engineering and optimize structural systems for cost efficiency and constructability.Assist in foundation design coordination and geotechnical integration.Provide technical support during permitting, design approvals, and construction administration.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
