Description

Our client, a leader in the energy and power electronics industry, is seeking a US-Engineer II to join their dedicated team. As a US-Engineer II, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting innovative development and verification projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay Range: $35 - $39

What's the Job?

  • Set up, integrate, and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test systems used for power electronics, energy storage, and control systems development.
  • Collaborate closely with controls, firmware, system, and hardware engineering teams to develop accurate HIL models.
  • Configure test environments, automate test execution, and support product verification activities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform hands-on work with HIL platforms such as OPAL-RT, ensuring reliable hardware/software integration.
  • Validate and troubleshoot HIL systems to ensure optimal performance and accuracy in testing scenarios.

What's Needed?

  • Hands-on experience with HIL platforms, particularly OPAL-RT or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of test automation and hardware/software integration processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail in technical environments.
  • Relevant technical education or equivalent experience in engineering or related fields.
