Our Arizona facility supports the manufacturing and deployment of ESS Link systems for grid-scale energy storage projects across North America.SummaryThe SAT Engineer is responsible for supporting pre-shipment and post-deployment quality verification activities, as well as Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for ESS Link products. This role serves as a key connection between manufacturing operations and customer-site activities by validating product quality, supporting system-level verification, investigating field quality concerns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues. The SAT Engineer also provides valuable field feedback to manufacturing and quality organizations, helping drive continuous improvement in product quality, system performance, and operational reliability. This position involves a significant amount of travel and requires strong technical troubleshooting, field support, and problem-solving capabilities.ResponsibilitiesPerform and support Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities for ESS Link products at customer sitesExecute SAT procedures and quality verification activities in accordance with established standards and requirementsDocument SAT results and prepare technical reportsCommunicate SAT findings and quality concerns to internal stakeholdersSupport resolution of quality issues identified during site activitiesVerify quality and operational readiness of ESS Link systems at customer sitesAssess installation quality and product conformitySupport investigation and analysis of field quality concernsCollect and review product performance and quality-related dataVerify compliance with customer requirements and project specificationsPerform basic electrical verification using digital multimeters and other standard test equipmentConduct insulation resistance testing and evaluate resultsPerform communication checks and basic diagnostic activitiesCollect, review, and analyze system logs and operational dataSupport troubleshooting and root cause analysis of system-level concernsCollaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve technical issuesRespond to field quality concerns and support initial containment activitiesAnalyze issues using facts, data, and technical evidenceCoordinate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and implement corrective actionsSupport verification of corrective action effectivenessTrack quality issues through closure and support preventive improvement effortsProvide field feedback to manufacturing and quality organizationsSupport continuous improvement initiatives using SAT and field quality dataAnalyze relationships between manufacturing processes and field performanceSupport quality stabilization efforts for new products and projectsPrepare SAT reports and field quality summariesDocument quality concerns, technical findings, and corrective actionsOrganize and analyze field data and operational informationSupport KPI reporting and quality performance trackingMaintain quality records and project documentationCollaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Production, Quality Engineering, Project Management, and Commissioning teamsSupport resolution of quality and technical issues across manufacturing and field environmentsCommunicate quality risks, concerns, and recommendations to internal stakeholdersMaintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, SustainRight Location, Right Quantity, Right ContainerPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering requiredDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferredExperience3+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, commissioning, validation, field service, or related engineering rolesExperience in ESS, battery systems, electrical equipment, industrial systems, renewable energy, or related industries preferredExperience supporting customer-site activities, field troubleshooting, or commissioning activities preferredExperience with SAT, FAT, validation, qualification, or system verification activities preferredExperience analyzing technical data and identifying root causes of issues preferredSkillsUnderstanding of quality systems and manufacturing processesStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis skillsData-driven decision-making capabilityAbility to support corrective and preventive action activitiesAbility to use digital multimeters and basic electrical test equipmentAbility to perform insulation resistance testing and interpret resultsBasic understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting methodologiesAbility to perform communication checks and basic network diagnostics#J-18808-Ljbffr
