  • Apply company and industry drafting standards, GD&T requirements, and engineering drawing best practices.
  • Conduct design reviews and drawing checks to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Support test engineers with fixture design, test planning, and load path analysis related to test setups.
  • Provide technical oversight and recommendations to fabrication vendors and suppliers.
  • Lead tooling and GSE development activities for assigned test campaigns.
  • Track project schedules, technical progress, and deliverables while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience designing tooling, fixtures, GSE, test equipment, or structural assemblies.
  • Proficiency with Creo Parametric (Pro/E) and Windchill or equivalent CAD/PDM systems.
  • Experience creating detailed mechanical drawings, assemblies, and installation packages.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Mechanical design and integration
    • Weldments and mechanical joints
    • GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
    • Tolerance stack-up analysis
    • Engineering release and configuration management processes
  • Experience managing large and complex CAD assemblies.
  • Ability to lead projects and coordinate engineering activities across multiple teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace, spacecraft, launch vehicle, aircraft, or automotive industry experience.
  • Experience supporting test campaigns and test fixture development.
  • Background in large-scale GSE assembly and integration.
  • Experience supporting fabrication and manufacturing activities.
  • Knowledge of fluid systems or cryogenic tooling design.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% during major test campaigns.
What You'll Bring
  • Strong mechanical design expertise.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced engineering environment.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
