Join our team in Bloomington, MN, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting the most reliable and fastest network. As part of our team, you'll work on macro modification projects and ensure that the necessary equipment for our macro cell site projects is available and complete.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborating with cellular engineering and operations to ensure equipment availability for macro cell site projects.
  • Determining equipment needs and ordering a wide range of equipment such as antennas, power systems, and fiber optic cables.
  • Working closely with other Network teams like RF Design, Operations, Real Estate, Construction, Facilities, and System Performance to implement new technologies and services.
  • Coordinating the ordering and integration process to provide complete equipment sets for projects.
  • Managing supplier relationships to meet targeted network milestones and turn-up dates.
  • Attending project update meetings to present status updates.
  • Following appropriate methods and procedures for equipment tracking and inventory control.
  • Initiating Material Requests for shipment from our centralized warehouse.
  • Tracking equipment with a focus on expense reduction and just-in-time ordering.
  • Monitoring all equipment expenditures.
  • Ensuring vendor payment utilizing PeopleSoft Equipment Procurement.
  • Overseeing equipment installation and acceptance.
  • Reviewing drawings for accuracy.
  • Using Fuze to order equipment.

You’ll Need to Have

  • Associate’s degree or two or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of Client Office and Google Suites.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Even Better If You Have

  • Knowledge of DC power systems used in the telecommunications environment.
  • Knowledge of cellular network architecture.
  • Knowledge of Ericsson base station equipment, CATS/FULCRUM, MapInfo, FUZE, PURCH, and PeopleSoft.
