Job Title: Sales Engineer - Oracle Support Specialist

Job Description

Join a leading provider of commercial vehicle upfitting solutions as a Sales Engineer - Oracle Support Specialist. This critical role at our Boise, ID facility will support the transition to an Oracle ERP system, enhancing order processing and production visibility. You will play a pivotal role in data integrity, order management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful implementation and operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete catalog setup in Oracle, including item creation, Bill of Materials (BOM) build and validation, work definitions, cost rollups, and pricing.
• Support AS400 data migration into Oracle, ensuring accuracy and consistency of item and order data.
• Assist with sales order entry and backlog reduction, including BOM, work definitions, and price book alignment.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production teams to understand parts, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain tracking tools and spreadsheets to ensure deadlines and project milestones are met.
• Identify process gaps and improvement opportunities during the ERP transition.

Essential Skills

• Experience working within an ERP system (Oracle preferred, but not required).
• Hands-on experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs), item setup, or product data structures.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail in high-volume environments.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and production teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel and general computer systems.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced ERP transition environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting an Oracle ERP implementation or migration.
• Familiarity with AS400 data environments and system migration efforts.
• Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM tools.
• Manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments.
• Basic understanding of mechanical components, materials, or production processes.
• Experience with costing, pricing structures, or work definitions within ERP systems.

Work Environment

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role that requires working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The work environment is dynamic and focuses on clearing backlogs, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting an ERP go-live. The position is a contract role with potential for extension and requires adaptability in evolving environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Boise, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
