Your Role

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate with experience developing cloud-native solutions, optimizing DevOps pipelines, and implementing AI-driven automation to improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain Python-based applications, automation frameworks, and AI-driven solutions to support Treasury and enterprise technology initiatives.

  • Build, configure, administer, and enhance GitLab repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes to improve software delivery efficiency and governance.

  • Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable environments.

  • Implement AI technologies including Agentic AI, RAG architectures, AI agents, and intelligent automation solutions to eliminate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, Accounting, and Technology teams to gather requirements, deliver strategic solutions, and support enterprise initiatives.

  • Establish coding standards, maintain technical documentation, provide knowledge transfer, and drive continuous improvement across development, automation, and cloud engineering practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field; Advanced degree preferred.

  • 8-10+ years of experience in Python development, AWS cloud engineering, DevOps automation, data pipelines, and enterprise technology solutions.

  • Strong expertise in Python, Terraform, GitLab administration, CI/CD pipeline development, AWS cloud services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, Security Groups), and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

  • Hands-on experience implementing AI solutions including Agentic AI, RAG, AI Agents, prompt engineering, and automation frameworks, with the ability to support Treasury, Risk, Finance, or Capital Markets business environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
