The Engine Test Lab Materials Coordinator is responsible for ordering and maintaining the parts inventory for the Engine Test Laboratory (ETL) at the PACCAR Technical Center in Mount Vernon, WA. This role supports test operations related to emissions compliance and onboard diagnostics testing for PACCAR's MX engine platform for Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF semi-trucks by ensuring timely availability of engine parts, assemblies, and shop supplies.
Job Responsibilities
Order and maintain inventory of shop supplies and engine components to support lab operations
Maintain and organize warehouse storage areas for engines, aftertreatment systems, and related components
Track, document, and manage inventory
Locate and source parts required for engine builds, rebuilds, and test configurations using internal systems (BOMs, RMI, VOG, etc.)
Support engineers and technicians by ensuring materials are available and properly staged for testing activities
Operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack) to move and organize parts safely and efficiently
Participate in meetings to coordinate material needs for upcoming tests and projects
Maintain accurate records of inventory status, material locations, and usage
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in warehouse and lab areas
Identify opportunities for process improvements in material flow, storage, and inventory management
Perform duties safely and efficiently with minimal supervision
Respond to shifting priorities and test schedules
Coordinate shipping and receiving of test parts and assemblies
