Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking an Energy Storage Project Engineer.

Summary The Utility Scale Energy Storage team seeks a Project Engineer with a passion for renewable energy and experience in energy storage.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, designing, and managing energy storage projects
• Selecting equipment
• Coordinating engineering resources
• Supporting logistics
• Consulting across teams

This role requires technical expertise, strong project management skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. You will analyze data, conduct technical due diligence, propose storage solutions, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize battery energy storage system performance.

Responsibilities:

• Support design phase and engineer major components for large-scale energy storage projects
• Recognize inconsistencies in engineering drawings, take corrective action, and strive for better design quality and efficiency
• Identify and resolve errors in engineering studies and suggest future solutions
• Prepare technical scopes of work for contracts
• Support projects from inception to completion by working closely with project managers
• Influence project teams on engineering tasks
• Stay updated on project progress and technical issues
• Manage project milestones and recognize risks
• Collaborate with suppliers to integrate major equipment
• Work with diverse teams to solve problems, improve opportunities, and integrate systems and controls
• Handle other assigned duties as needed
• Travel 25% of the time for project-specific duties
