Energy Station Service Specialist
Location: Axtell, NE
Pay: $16.00 19.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8: 00 AM 5: 00 PM | Occasional Early Mornings, Evenings & Some Saturday Mornings
A company in Axtell is hiring an Energy Station Service Specialist to support vehicle maintenance, customer service, and daily station operations. This position is ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys working with customers and handling a variety of hands-on responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Complete tire services and general maintenance tasks
Fill and handle propane cylinders safely when needed
Operate forklift equipment after certification
Assist customers with merchandise, services and transactions
Receive payments and operate cash register systems
Stock shelves, displays, and service items
Complete housekeeping duties inside and outside the facility
Assist with monthly inventory counts and reporting
Follow company safety procedures and maintain organized work areas
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver s license required
Mechanical aptitude and maintenance experience preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic computer and data entry skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong time management, organization and problem-solving skills
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 100 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb throughout the shift
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Ability to work around moving equipment, fumes, airborne particles and chemicals
