NOTE: This position can be filled at any level of the approved career ladder based on candidate qualifications.

The Energy Manager will provide managerial and technical oversight for the Utilities Staff in the Energy and Sustainability Office. The incumbent in this position provides expertise in energy resource management to ensure identification, life cycle cost analysis, design, implementation and/or construction of energy saving and sustainability initiatives in order to meet University goals and objectives for energy management, carbon neutrality, and sustainability.

Required Qualifications

Required:

  • Field related Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of experience in facilities management or energy management

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Two years supervisory experience
  • Four years experience performing data analysis and cost accounting
  • Working knowledge of design and construction practices, inspection, code compliance, and scheduling and estimation software
