The Energy Innovation Program Consultant evaluates and develops programmatic aspects of emerging energy technologies and initiatives, including vendor assessments, RFP development, budget management, project planning, and trend analysis.
They act as technical lead on major projects, coordinating across business units, building stakeholder relationships, and reporting on progress.
Minimum requirements include a relevant degree with extensive experience in power and natural gas sectors, with expertise in renewables, DER, and grid technologies. Preference for advanced degrees and strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
The role involves researching innovative solutions, managing project budgets, resolving technical issues, and representing the company on industry forums.
The position requires working independently, making technical decisions, and contributing to process improvements. Hybrid work is supported, with residents in Arizona or New Mexico preferred.
