About the Role:
- As a CBRE Energy Analyst, you will assist in supporting the implementation of energy initiatives for a small to medium-sized site, region, or account. This job is part of the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.
- CBRE is seeking a Energy Analyst to support various sites in Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi within our Healthcare sector. What You'll Do:
- Identify cost savings opportunities and budgets for utilities.
- Assist with the coordination of energy procurement and energy-related projects on behalf of client accounts.
- Prepare monthly variance and energy service status reports.
- Monitor and report on energy use, bill gap reviews, and spending trends.
- Maintain, review, and evaluate utility bill data. Provide basic energy and sustainability-related input to preventative maintenance and engineering procedures.
- Help with the development of site energy profiles, site surveys, and energy plans.
- Gather and organize all support documentation as directed.
- Under supervision participate in site inspections, surveys, and reporting. Use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Analyze information and standard practices to make judgments.
- Impact the quality of own work.
- Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
- Support the development and execution of energy management programs and improvement of client KPIs.
- Assist in sustainability consulting for a facility to help meet sustainability goals. Execute opportunities to improve energy and sustainability performance.
- Support sustainability goals, energy resilience strategies, and programs.
- Review data and interpretation of energy and sustainability reports.
- Execute a sustainability, resilience, and smart energy plan for a designated facility. Integrate knowledge of energy procurement and new technologies to improve performance.
- Present periodic energy and sustainability status and variance reports. Collect energy, waste, and water data from clients and management.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of 2+ years of experience and education will be considered.
- Has some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience of applying them.
- Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
- Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. Intermediate math skills.
- Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
- Ability to work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
