Energetics Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Energetics Engineer to support the development and qualification of advanced propulsion system components for aerospace applications. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in pyrotechnic and energetic systems, including gas generators, initiators, and igniters. The position involves working in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment focused on delivering cutting-edge technologies for both defense and commercial aerospace sectors. The ideal candidate will contribute across the full product lifecycle, ensuring safety, compliance, and high performance of all components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and define requirements and technical specifications for energetic components
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and industry requirements
- Design, analyze, and support manufacturing processes for propellants and related systems
- Plan, execute, and evaluate development and qualification testing
- Prepare detailed test plans, documentation, and technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and qualifying energetic or pyrotechnic components
- Strong knowledge of verification and validation processes
- Familiarity with explosive and ammunition certification standards
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
