GulfShore Endoscopy Center,is seeking a motivated RN Endoscopy, Full Time to join our team

GulfShore Endoscopy Centeris amulti-specialty surgery center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience forpatients and their families.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call.

Job Summary: The Endo RN has the responsibility to plan, direct organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care. He / she ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. As an Endoscopy RN, you'll work in endoscopy or gastroenterology. Endo nurses assist in any procedures where use of an endoscope is indicated and you'll help identify problems within the body using miniature cameras. Endo RN job duties can also include providing pre and post-procedure patient care, including sedation and sterilization.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
  • Current Florida license
  • BLS required, ACLS preferred
  • IV Proficiency
  • Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
  • Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a RN in surgery or critical care setting preferred
  • Will consider and provide training for new graduate nurses
