Position Overview:
We are actively seeking Georgia-certified EMT-B professionals to join our growing operations team. This role focuses on non-emergency medical transport (BLS) for patients requiring stretcher or wheelchair assistance to and from medical facilities.
If you’re an EMT who prefers scheduled transports, consistent routes, patient interaction, and work-life balance—this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a non-emergency BLS ambulance or medical transport vehicle.
- Perform patient assessments, monitoring, and safe patient handling.
- Assist patients with stretcher transfers, wheelchair loading, and securement.
- Provide Basic Life Support (BLS) care in accordance with Georgia protocols.
- Administer oxygen therapy and basic first aid as required.
- Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, facilities, and dispatch.
- Accurately complete ePCR documentation and transport records.
- Maintain vehicle readiness, cleanliness, and medical supply inventory.
- Follow all Georgia EMS regulations, HIPAA standards, and Allyant EMS SOPs.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Georgia EMT-B Certification.
- Valid Georgia Driver’s License with clean driving record.
- CPR/BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Ability to lift, move, and transport patients using stretchers.
- Strong communication, professionalism, and patient-care skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience in NEMT, dialysis transport, or interfacility transfers.
- Prior stretcher transport or ambulance experience.
- Familiarity with ePCR systems.
Compensation & Benefits:
