• Prompt and regular attendance at work.
• Provide Leadership and guidance to the Field Supervisors to maintain the goals and objectives of the organization.
• Works with Logistics to make sure that schedule reflects correct unit assignment and equipment.
• Coordinates with Scheduling Supervisor on open shifts and works on operational changes with the on-duty Field Supervisor.
• Fills in as the Operations Manager when that person is out of the office on vacation, sick or training time.
• Coordinates with the Scheduling Supervisor to review all part-time employees that fail to meet the minimum monthly work requirements and issue corrective actions as appropriate.
• Attendance at PULSE Meetings both in the morning and the afternoon to provide updates on current operational status.
• In the absence of the Operations Manager, leads the Operations portion of the New Hire Academy.
• Ensures quality measures on company policies with emphasis on monitoring operational deficiencies.
• Obtain a good working knowledge of scheduling system and training software’s utilized by the Company.
• Assists with initial reporting and investigation of incident reports (IR’s) placed by employees; closes reports not needing administrative intervention within 48 hours.
• Daily review of all Incident Reports submitted by the workforce and assigning them to the correct staff member for investigation and follow up.

• Manage feedback to employees that submit Incident Reports.
• Monthly reporting number of Incident Reports by type, number closed, and number still open.
• Maintains open PCR log and assists Operations Manager with employee contact for completion.
• Works with Scheduling Supervisor on attendance points and issues progressive discipline per MedFleet attendance standards.
• Assists with Supervisor Hotline in absence of Field Supervisor.
• Will be called upon to be the on-duty Field Supervisor in case of sick calls or placement of the on-duty Field Supervisor on a unit.
• Participates in Medical Control hotline coverage rotation.
• Assists Dispatcher with proper triaging of calls.
• Keeps Administration and Human Resources informed of changes or potential changes that are occurring in the field.
• Assists the Operations Manager in short- and long-term planning.
• Acts as backup field provider during high operational volume to help provide relief for the system.
• Works with the Safety Supervisor on maintaining a high safety standard.
• Must support, properly interpret, and implement any polices, protocols, standard operating procedures, philosophies, or other directives as set forth by MedFleet and PatientCare EMS.
• Performs other such duties as may be required.

Works outdoors and indoors with occasional exposure to hazardous conditions and to blood/body fluids, requires respirator use, fumes/odors, extended day, and temperature changes. Frequently works with others, face-to-face contact with others with exposure to noise, mechanical equipment, and electrical equipment. Performs shift work and performs duties frequently in a mobile environment and in confined areas.
