Job Title: Medical Data Entry Clerk
Pay: $18-$25 per hour depending on experience
Hours: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Join a dedicated healthcare organization in Bangor, Maine, as an Data Entry Clerk and contribute to vital patient record accuracy during a critical EMR project. This role provides an excellent stepping stone into health information management, clinical data review, or health IT fields.

As an Data Entry Clerk, you'll play a key role in ensuring that patient data moved from legacy systems to the new EMR is accurate and complete. You'll work closely with the project team, reviewing clinical data to support upcoming appointments and maintaining quality reporting standards. 

What You'll Do
As an Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for:
  • Reviewing patient charts for accuracy prior to upcoming appointments. 
  • Auditing clinical data to ensure the transfer of accurate and current information from the old EMR to the new system.
  • Validating patient demographic details.

What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience with medical terminology and healthcare documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review complex clinical data accurately.
  • Basic understanding of EMR systems,
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
