Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Attorney for its Hackensack, NJ office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic Labor and Employment practice group, representing employers in complex employment matters across various industries.Duties Independently manage all phases of employment litigation from inception through resolution.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.Conduct and defend depositions.Attend and advocate at court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other employment-related claims.Advise employers on workplace issues and employment law compliance.Manage discovery, motion practice, and case deadlines in state and federal courts.Develop litigation strategies and maintain strong client relationships.Requirements Minimum of 5 years of employment litigation experience.Admission to practice in New Jersey required; New York admission is a plus.Experience handling matters in state and federal court.Demonstrated experience drafting and arguing motions and conducting depositions.Excellent legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and communication abilities.Ability to independently manage an active caseload and prioritize deadlines.Experience counseling employers on employment law compliance preferred.Education Superior academic credentials preferred.Certifications Admission to practice law in New Jersey.Skills Strong attention to detail.Benefits Collaborative and entrepreneurial culture with strong mentorship.Significant opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Unlimited PTO for attorneys.Comprehensive benefits package.Robust discretionary and billable-based bonus opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
