    Position Summary

    The Employee Relations Business Partner handles the investigation of team member concerns and coaches leaders in the resolution of those concerns in a fair and consistent manner in accordance with Life Time policies and procedures and our culture of care. The position is responsible for executing Employee Relations activities and providing project support for initiatives to ensure the effective development, training, communication and implementation of HR and ER policies and processes.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues through research, investigation, tracking, documentation and resolution
    • Conducts effective, thorough and objective internal workplace investigations related to adherence to Code of Conduct, employment policies and federal and state regulations
    • Resolves employee relations issues by coaching and consulting with team members and leaders on policies, employment issues, and workplace challenges
    • Ensures the termination process, voluntary and involuntary, is completed timely and appropriately
    • Contributes to the development, analysis, and coordination of ER initiatives that encourage employee retention, job satisfaction, and positive morale and that support a professional and respectful culture
    • Advances our ER compliance investigations processes, engaging key stakeholders, communicating changes and providing training/consultation
    • Designs, develops, and delivers HR related training to business partners
    • Develops, communicates and implements company-wide employee relations programs, policies, and procedures
    • Uses Employee Relations metrics to determine trends and develop proactive strategies to support positive Employee Relations experiences in the businesses

    Position Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
    • 3+ years of progressive HR experience
    • Ability to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is in consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or federal law.
    • Ability to research, analyze, resolve basic to medium level employee relations issues
    • Must exhibit excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
    • Ability to work in an environment of constant change with a strong set of ethics
    • Ability to provide guidance and mentoring to team members using a culture of care
    • Strong organizational, communication, and decision making skills

    Pay

    This is a salaried position starting at $78,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $107,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
