Creates legally sound solutions to complex cases and maximizes opportunities for team member and business success. Provides Employee Relations coverage and support after hours as needed. Maintains close working relationships with all teams. Escalates complex Employee Relations matters to leadership as needed. Orients new facility leaders to the Employee Relations-ADA accommodation process. Stays current on employment law and state insurance privacy laws to ensure compliance and provide appropriate consultation. Works cooperatively with Leave of Absence Vendor, clinical experts, and legal to evaluate RTW status for team members. Determines eligibility and availability of leave time for each team member requesting leave and generates appropriate communications to comply with Leave Policy and ADA regulations. Manages interactions between team members, facility leaders, and physicians, including obtaining appropriate forms, providing education, and facilitating discussions to reach a decision. Performs other duties as assigned. Documents all ADA matters in accordance with legal compliance and organizational policies within the case management system. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite [Required] • Proficiency in disability management, leave management, disability case management, or human resources [Required] • Working knowledge in legal issues pertaining to ADA, FMLA and state leave laws [Required] • Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, especially PeopleSoft [Preferred] **Education:** • Bachelor's [Required] **Field of Study:** • in Business, Human Resources, or relevant field **Work Experience:** • 3+ benefits or human resources experience required focusing on ada related matter from start to finish [Required] • 5+ benefits or human resources experience required focusing on ada related matter from start to finish [Preferred] **Additional Information:** • N/A **Licenses and Certifications:** • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) [Preferred] **Physical Requirements:** _(Please click the link below to view work requirements)_ Physical Requirements - https://tinyurl.com/23km2677 **Pay Range:** $60,151.66 - $111,886.39 **Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)** Certain positions are subject to **Florida Level 2 background screening** , including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
