Provides professional nursing care to patients in an acute clinical care environment, guided by the SMHCS nursing professional practice model and in accordance with the ANA's Standards of Professional Practice. Promotes health and safety to all health care workers by facilitating an Employee Health Services program to include disease detection, prevention and treatment and follow-up on illnesses and injuries. Participates in planning, implementing, coordinating and evaluating patient care activities, staff education and management activities as delegated by Manager, Employee Health Services
Required Qualifications:- Require two (2) to five (5) years of nursing experience (ICU, Urgent Care, Emergency Care, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:- Prefer basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
- Prefer two (2) to five (5) years of experience in occupational health nursing, case management, or nurse triage.
- Prefer active Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) or Certified Occupational Health Nurse - Specialist (COHN-S) certification.
