The Benefits Analyst supports administration of Health & Welfare and Retirement programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, FSA, 401(k), and pension plans. This role manages complex benefits inquiries, ensures regulatory compliance, and partners with vendors to deliver seamless employee support. The analyst contributes to process improvements, supports open enrollment and onboarding, and maintains plan documentation while operating in a self-driven, results-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer Health & Welfare and Retirement benefits programs
  • Resolve complex employee benefits issues and escalations
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, Medicare, and IRS regulations
  • Support open enrollment, onboarding, and employee communications
  • Maintain plan documents and Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs)
  • Deliver benefits training and employee support services
  • Assist in M&A benefits integration activities
  • Analyze and improve benefits processes and reporting

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required
  • 3–5 years of experience in Benefits Administration, focused on Health & Welfare programs
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with vendor management and issue resolution
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
  • Knowledge of Savings Plans and Pension Benefits preferred
  • Strong skills in communication, prioritization, attention to detail, critical thinking, and team collaboration
