Location: Fiscal Services Department Hours/Day: 8 hours/day Days/Week: 5 days/week Months/Year: 12 months/year Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, coordinate and administer the District's employee health and welfare benefits programs; perform a variety of technical and analytical duties related to employee benefits administration, employee wellness initiatives, compliance activities, and benefits communications. Incumbents in this classification provide a variety of services to employees relating to benefits programs which directly support learning and District operations.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education: Associate degree in accounting, business administration, human resources, or related field. Courses and/or training in employee benefits are preferred. Additional qualifying experience beyond the minimum three (3) years may be substituted for the required degree on the basis of one (1) year of additional experience for 24 semester or 45 quarter units. Experience: Three (3) years of increasingly responsible technical and/or analytical experience in the field of employee benefits administration or human resources.
