A. Servidone Inc./B. Anthony Construction Corp. JV is seeking an Employee Benefits and Insurance Claims Coordinator to join our Human Resources and Payroll team in Old Bridge, New Jersey. This role supports both the employee experience and the company's risk management efforts by helping ensure benefits administration runs smoothly and insurance claims are handled accurately, promptly, and professionally.

What You'll Do

  • Administer employee benefit programs including health, dental, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions related to benefits, enrollments, qualifying life events, and open enrollment.
  • Process benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes accurately with insurance carriers while maintaining complete and current records.
  • Coordinate workers' compensation claims from initial report through resolution, working with employees, adjusters, providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support documentation and submission for general liability, auto, property, and other business-related insurance claims.
  • Track claim activity, follow up on open issues, and coordinate with brokers, carriers, safety personnel, and field supervisors on reporting and follow-up actions.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 6 to 12 months, success in this role will include:

  • Benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations are completed accurately and on time.
  • Open enrollment is organized clearly, communicated effectively, and completed with minimal disruption to employees.
  • Workers' compensation and other insurance claims are reported promptly, documented thoroughly, and tracked through resolution.
  • Benefits and insurance records remain organized, current, and audit-ready.
  • Compliance-related processes tied to COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, OSHA, and related requirements are handled consistently and with attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong administrative discipline with sound judgment and professional communication. The strongest candidates will bring experience in employee benefits administration, workers' compensation, insurance coordination, or a related HR support role.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in employee benefits, workers' compensation, insurance coordination, or HR administration
  • Working knowledge of employee benefit plans and insurance claims processes
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, carriers, brokers, and internal teams
  • Careful attention to detail, strong follow-through, and dependable recordkeeping habits
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; experience with Viewpoint Vista or a similar system is a plus
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements such as COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, and OSHA
  • Experience in a construction or union environment is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $64,000-$72,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), and annual bonus eligibility.

Employment type: Full-time.

Work Location / Schedule

This position is on-site in Old Bridge, New Jersey.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
