We are growing and looking for a motivated Employee Benefits Advisor to join our team in South Carolina.
In this role, you will work with small business clients (250 employees) and individuals to provide health and ancillary insurance solutions, while building long-term relationships and managing your own book of business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional looking to grow into a consultative, client-facing advisory role.
Salary Range: $50000.00 - $60000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ability to communicate with customers in a clear, memorable, and inspirational way.
Offers open enrollment support to new clients; conducts open enrollment meetings for existing clients upon request, explains benefit options to our clients employees and answers benefit questions; collects and processes enrollment paperwork.
Creates or revises plans within the carriers system and verifies deductions are correctly processed.
Maintain carrier relationships and keep abreast of market trends, carrier appetites, etc.
Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement initiatives to increase cost saving, efficiency, or effectiveness.
Experience developing proposals that meet clients needs, goals, and overcomes objectives.
Comprehensively access options available to client and make recommendations based on client needs.
Consistently meet all Resolve Insurance Groups established quality control procedures and timelines.
Ability to function well in an environment that presents frequent interruptions and moving targets.
Establish and monitor workloads, workflows, procedures, etc. so as to maintain a high level of customer service.
Maintains updated, accurate benefit plan deductions for new hires, terminations, qualifying status changes, plan renewals, etc.
Communicates effectively and professionally with clients and their employees, agents, and insurance carriers.
Adhere to agency procedures and utilization of the agency management system to maintain client documentation and reduce agency exposure to Errors and Omissions.
Comply with all regulatory requirements regarding licensing, sales, and service of Individual Health business.
Maximizing growth and client retention through superior customer service.
Perform other specific duties and projects as assigned by agency management.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Serve as the primary contact for your clients
Manage renewals, policy changes, and client service needs
Conduct annual reviews and recommend coverage improvements
Build strong, long-term client relationships
Benefits & Compliance
Work with carriers to obtain quotes and submit applications
Ensure compliance with ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, and other regulations
Stay up to date on insurance products and market trends
Knowledge of marketing principles, health care benefits sales strategy, and technical aspects of products and services.
Knowledge of contracts, state regulations, procedures, and other information pertinent to sales and servicing of this roles department.
Highly interpersonal, solutions-oriented, and analytical in nature.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and similar software.
Applied/EPIC knowledge or any Insurance Agency Management system preferred but not required.
