Join Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro as an Emergency Services RN and bring expert, compassionate care to patients in urgent and often unpredictable situations. In our Emergency Department, you will work alongside a dedicated team committed to safety, collaboration, and patient-centered care. This casual role offers flexibility while allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a rural community where every patient encounter matters.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement patient-centered plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Provide competent, safe, and innovative nursing care based on patient acuity and clinical judgment.
  • Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and plan-of-care updates accurately and timely.
  • Participate in quality improvement, shared governance, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional learning.
  • Support education of nursing colleagues and students.

What you will need

  • Current valid Wisconsin RN license
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • PALS certification required
  • TNCC certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Services Nursing experience
  • Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment
  • Commitment to patient- and family-centered care, safety, and teamwork
  • Ability to collaborate, delegate appropriately, and support a culture of caring
