Responsible for assisting with patient care in the Emergency Services department.
Duties & Responsibilities:Transports patients between different hospital units.
Ensures that supplies in the Emergency Services department are properly stocked.
Administer CPR, check blood pressure, temperature or perform phlebotomy and electrocardiograms as needed.
Ensure the emergency rooms are neat and orderly at all times.
Adjust crutches for patients as necessary.
Obtain food order from kitchen.
Transport discharged patients via wheelchair to car.
Deliver specimens as needed
Performs all other related duties as assigned.
Vocational/technical training and more than six months job-related experience or equivalent is required. Nursing Assistant Certificate is also required. BLS required
