Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the ER.
Triage incoming patients and prioritize care based on acuity.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in EMR.
Adhere to safety, quality, and compliance standards in all procedures.
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per protocol.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
Assist in developing and meeting department KPIs and performance metrics.
Demonstrate accountability for own performance and outcomes within the team.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance patient throughput.
Maintain on-site readiness through stock checks and credentialed equipment maintenance.
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
Experience/Qualifications
Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification.
Minimum 2–3 years ER or acute care nursing experience.
Proficient EMR documentation with accurate patient assessments and outcomes.
Triage proficiency with rapid decision-making and acuity-based prioritization.
Medication administration per protocol with monitoring for adverse reactions.
Collaborative communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to meet department KPIs and contribute to throughput improvements.
Strong patient and family education skills for discharge planning.
On-site readiness with equipment maintenance and stock management.
Demonstrated accountability, initiative, and learning mindset aligned with growth goals.
