Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Location: Rock Hill, SC
Employment Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (Days: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM | Nights: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
Openings: 2 Day Shift | 4 Night Shift
Compensation: $35.00–$49.18/hour
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
Shift Differential: Available
Overtime: Available
On-Call/Call Back: Required

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for a 24-hour emergency department in Rock Hill, SC. This role provides emergency nursing care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, prioritize, and provide emergency nursing care.

  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.

  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely.

  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes promptly.

  • Verify physician orders and coordinate diagnostic testing and procedures.

  • Document patient care accurately in Cerner (Oracle).

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Maintain compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

  • BSN preferred

Licensure

  • Active RN license required

  • Multi-State RN License required for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) residents or obtained within 30 days of hire

Required Certifications

  • Active BLS at hire

  • ACLS during orientation

  • PALS during orientation

Preferred Certifications

  • ENPC

  • TNCC

  • CEN

Experience

  • Monitor experience or EKG course completion required

  • Emergency Department, Critical Care, or Acute Care experience preferred
