• Board certified/eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or board certified in family medicine (ABFM)

• ED volume: 45,000 per year
• 18-bed ED
• Trauma level: III
• Admission rate: 12%
• 44 hours of physician coverage per day
• 12 hours of advanced practice clinician coverage per day
• Flexible schedules

• ED volume: 11,500 per year
• Trauma level: IV
• Admission rate: 10%
• 24 hours of physician coverage per day
• Flexible schedules
