Job Summary:

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our Freestanding Emergency Room in San Juan, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:
  • BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, or FM/IM with Emergency Medicine experience
Incentives/Benefits:
  • 16,000 annual volume
  • 24 hours of physician coverage
  • 8 hours of APP coverage daily
  • Independent Contractor Status
  • Malpractice Insurance with tail coverage provided
Facility Information:

Our freestanding emergency room in San Juan, TX is an extension of our main facility Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen, TX. It is conveniently located and accessible to residents in neighboring cities such as Pharr, Alamo, Donna, and Weslaco.
  • 11,000 square-foot center
  • 11 private treatment rooms and a highly specialized trauma room
  • Meditech EMR
  • Affiliation with Rio Grande Regional Hospital makes direct admission when necessary to the hospital simple and seamless
  • Blood Work processed on the on-site lab
  • CT scan, ultrasound, and X-rays completed on site
