Locum Emergency Medicine Physician needed starting as soon as credentialed in the northeast TX area.
- Target Start: As soon as Credentialed
- Length of Assignment: 1 year
- Minimum # of Shifts Acceptable Per Month: 5
- Staffing Model MD/DO: 25.86 hours of MD coverage daily
- Staffing Model NP/PA: 11.29 hours of NPPA coverage daily
- Physician Shift Times: Monday: 7a-4p, 1p-9p, & 9p-7a. Sunday & Tues-Thursday: 7a-3p, 2p-10p, & 9p-7a. Friday - Sunday : 7a-7p & 7p-7a
- NP/PA Shift Times: Mon-Tues: 10a-10p. Wed-Sun: 10a-9p
- Annual Volume: About 24,000 patients
- Patients per Day: About 65/day
- % EMS: About 18.3%
- % Admitted Patients: About 10%
- Scribe Coverage: None
- ED Beds & Fast Track BEDS: 15 ED beds, + 2 Fast Track Beds
- Backup Specialties: Ortho, GI, Telenephrology, Teleneuro, & Telepsych
- EMR System: EPIC
- Certification Requirements: Active TX License. Will accept ABEM only.
- Privileging Timeframe: 90+ days
- Expedited Privileges for Locum Providers? Temps are possible but even with temps, it's still about a 60 day+ credentialing timeframe
