A high-volume, high-acuity Emergency Department in Florence, SC is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for night shift coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for residency-trained EM physicians who thrive in a fast-paced trauma setting.
QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Emergency Medicine Residency Trained
Active South Carolina medical license
CSR and DEA (must remain permanently registered in South Carolina)
Comfortable performing all Emergency Medicine procedures
Must be comfortable treating patients of all ages
Night Shift Coverage: 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
Primary need on weekends

Level II Trauma Center
Approximately 75,000 annual patient visits
81 exam rooms plus separate psychiatric holding area
State-of-the-art trauma rooms, including a dedicated pediatric trauma room
Dedicated Imaging and Laboratory Services
Very low transfer rate
24/7 Physician staffing
APP support 7 days per week
Additional APP extenders and scribes
Newly built Emergency Department (opened in 2021)
